Next Edge Goalie Camp
Camp Format
Each day of the four day Next Edge Hockey Camp is intentionally structured to maximize development through a balance of on-ice training, classroom education, and off-ice performance work. Goaltenders are divided into two training groups to ensure focused instruction, quality repetitions, and individualized feedback throughout the day.
Daily Schedule Overview:
📍 Rockville Ice Arena
8:30 AM – Check-In
Player arrival, equipment setup, and daily overview.9:00–10:00 AM – Split Training
Group 1: On-Ice Training
Group 2: Off-Ice Performance & Movement Training
10:15–11:15 AM –Split Training
Group 1: On-Ice Training
Group 2: Off-Ice Performance & Movement Training
11:30 AM–12:00 PM – Video & Classroom Session
Led by professional and collegiate goaltenders, this session emphasizes game IQ, situational awareness, and film breakdown to reinforce on-ice concepts.
Each goalie will receive a binder from the coaches that includes the daily lesson plans and mindset strategies used to foster on-ice success
12:15–1:15 PM – Lunch Break
Campers will have access to the rink Cafeteria, but are recommended to bring personal food.
1:40–2:30 PM – Second on Ice Session (Group 1 & Group 2)
Both groups will rotate through a multi-station setup giving each goalie direct coaching and exposure to our elite coaching staff.
Exit meetings & Report Card(Final day)
This rotating format ensures every goalie receives equal exposure to on-ice instruction, off-ice development, and classroom learning—creating a complete, professional training experience designed to translate directly to game performance.

As coaches who have played and coached at the junior and collegiate levels, we are committed to passing down the habits, standards, and mindset required to succeed at the next level.
We aim to enrich the local hockey community by creating a professional, supportive environment where goalies are challenged, educated, and prepared to translate training into confident game performance. Driven by collegiate goaltenders from the DMV.
