Our team is built on a shared passion for helping players reach their full potential. With coaches from a wide range of playing backgrounds, levels, and experiences, we create a unique and well-rounded approach to player development.
Jack Spicer
Jack Spicer, one of Next Edge Hockey’s three founders, brings an accomplished and well-rounded hockey background to Next Edge Hockey. Growing up Jack played for Team Maryland, and would later compete at the national, junior, and NCAA Division I levels. He was a key contributor to the 2021–22 USA Hockey U18 National Championship team, earning Most Valuable Player honors during the championship run.
Following his success at the U18 level, Jack played two seasons in the United States Hockey League (USHL) with the Waterloo Black Hawks from 2022–2024, competing in the 2023 BioSteel All-American Game, an honor reserved for top junior players across the country. He currently competes at the NCAA Division I level at Sacred Heart University, where he continues to develop his game against elite collegiate competition.
Founder
Ervie Terwilliger
Ervie Terwilliger, one of Next Edge Hockey’s three founders, brings proven leadership experience and a deep understanding of player development at the high school, junior, and collegiate levels to Next Edge Hockey. Ervie served as Captain at Team Maryland and at Mount Saint Joseph High School, where he led his team to two league championships.
Ervie advanced to junior hockey, competing with the Maryland Black Bears(NAHL). He was the Captain for the North York Rangers and Cobourg Cougars(OJHL) during the 2024–25 season. Ervie is currently competing at the NCAA Division III level at Albertus Magnus College.
Founder
Grace Campbell, one of Next Edge Hockey’s three founders, brings elite professional, NCAA Division I, and national-level experience to the program. A former Team Maryland goaltender, Grace went on to become a four-year goaltender and captain at Boston College. During her collegiate career, she earned Hockey East Three Stars honors, attended the 2025 USA Goalie Development Camp and USA National Festival, and was named NCAA National Goaltender of the Month in November 2025.
Grace now plays professionally for the Toronto Sceptres, bringing firsthand knowledge of what it takes to succeed at every level. Grace is passionate about sharing her experience and helping the next generation of goaltenders develop both on and off the ice.
FounderGrace Campbell
Dominic Basse most recently played in the ECHL for the Utah Grizzlies and Tahoe Knight Monsters. Dominic brings professional experience and high-level goaltending knowledge to Next Edge Hockey as he continues pursuing his professional career. Growing up Dom played for the Youngstown Phantoms of the USHL, where he was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the sixth round of the 2019 NHL Draft.
Dominic played NCAA Division I hockey at Colorado College and St. Cloud State University, earning NCAA Goaltender of the Month honors and recording six collegiate shutouts.
CoachDom Basse
Bella Pomarico is a current member of the Boston College women’s hockey team and a two-time Hockey East All-Academic Team selection.
In high school at Berwick Academy, she served as a two-time captain and earned Team MVP and Boston Globe All-Scholastic honors in 2023. She was also named to the 2022 NEPSAC Small School First Team and received the 2022 Charles Holt Award, presented to Berwick’s top athlete and strongest leader.

CoachBella Pomarico
Alex Parker has served as Head Varsity Coach at Landon School since 2022, leading the program to the 2025 MAPHL Championship and IAC Championships in 2023 and 2024. His coaching background also includes Wootton High School, the Montgomery Blue Devils, and four consecutive USA Hockey Nationals appearances with MYHA—including bronze medals in 2022 and 2023. A former goaltender, Alex played overseas in Serbia and Hungary after winning two conference championships at James Madison University. He brings extensive coaching experience and goaltending knowledge to Next Edge Hockey.
CoachAlex Parker
Pete Sterling plays at Endicott College, where he has established himself as one of the top goaltenders at the NCAA Division III level. During the 2025–26 season, he was named CNE Goaltender of the Year, CNE Rookie of the Year, and CNE All-Conference First Team, while also earning recognition as a Joe Concannon Award Semifinalist. He brings elite experience, strong technical knowledge, and a high hockey IQ to Next Edge Hockey, where he is passionate about helping young goaltenders develop on and off the ice.
